ICF Foundations

Tri-State Builders has poured some of the most elaborate foundations using Insulated Concrete Forms. ICFs are concrete forms made up of a foam-like material, Expanded Polystyrene.  The “foam” panels are then mated using a “plastic” web.  The webs also help to ensure that the steel rebar spacing is precise, and accurate.  Once stacked upon each other, ICFs much resemble traditional concrete forms.

Insulated Concrete forms achieve a high insulating factor with a 40 plus R-Performance rating.  With insulating properties like these, a homeowner is capable of having a concrete house.  Tri-State Builders has experience in pouring concrete homes from the foundation to the roof.  One project even earned Tri-State Builders an award in concrete design and installation.
